THE LORE

Every cult keeps two versions of its founding image: the famous accident and the true form. Cathory's debut sleeve became a collector's grail when the print run came out the wrong color, and that yellow error has its own shirt and its own following. This is the other one — the horned figure in stark white on black, the way the underground actually passed it around: painted on jacket backs, inked on tape covers, copied by hand under bad light until the lines meant more than the colors ever did. No woodcut this time either; this is a portrait from life. The hiss is from life. The horns, the elders insist, are also from life. Nobody has dared check.

THE FABRIC

We tested t-shirts for years. This one won.

We spent years testing t-shirts, washing them, wearing them into the ground, until we landed on this Comfort Colors blank. We print on this one on purpose. We wanted yours to feel like the band tee you grabbed at a merch stand five years ago: soft as hell, perfectly broken in, the one friends keep telling you looks great on you. The one you'd save in a fire.

Why it feels that way:

6.1 oz ring-spun cotton. A mall tee runs 4.2 to 5 oz. You feel the difference the second you pick it up.
Dyed after it's sewn. The whole finished shirt goes into the pigment bath, so the color lands a little differently on every piece. Yours is one of one, and it fades into a vintage look the more you wear it.
Broken-in on arrival. Enzyme-washed at the dye house, so it skips the cardboard-new phase and only gets softer with each wash.
A collar that holds the line. Snug ribbed neckline that stays snug. No sad, saggy necklines.
Relaxed, slightly boxy cut. The way band tees fit before slim-fit took over.
Pre-shrunk for real. All those dye-house washes already did the shrinking. Wash cold and the fit you bought is the fit you keep.

Care for the cursed: cold wash, inside out, low dry. The slow fade is not damage, it's the point.
